Kingdom Holding Company has resumed construction of the Jeddah Tower with the pouring of concrete on the 64th floor, the company announced on its X social media account on January 21, 2025.
Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company, said: “The concrete work for each floor should be completed in four days, as estimated by the contractor Saudi Bin Ladin Group. If everything goes according to plan, we should be able to complete the construction in the next 42 months.”
At over 1,000 meters tall and a total construction area of 530,000 square meters, the Jeddah Tower will become the tallest building in the world and the center piece and first construction phase of the $20 Billion Jeddah Economic City development in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, near the Red Sea.
